Summary
Join ThirdChannel as a Retail Project Manager and leverage your DTC retail expertise to support a key enterprise client. You will combine operational execution, data storytelling, and project leadership to ensure in-store programs are delivered on budget and aligned with client goals. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and retail partners to maximize platform adoption and deliver actionable insights. You will own reporting, present findings to stakeholders, and manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously. Furthermore, you will contribute to operational innovation, strategic account planning, revenue growth, and proactive problem-solving. This position requires in-person collaboration in NYC approximately 20% of the time.
Requirements
- Project Manager Experience Required— including timeline ownership, task coordination, and stakeholder communication across teams
- Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in retail operations or retail management strong emphasis on DTC retail
- Experience working with or at retail brands supporting brick-and-mortar stores, preferably in the sporting goods, athletic, or lifestyle sector
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
- Comfortable working with dashboards and metrics to tell a story
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal — with an ability to present to semi-technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot), project management platforms (e.g., Monday, Atlassian), and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of field team coordination and in-store merchandising processes
- Located within NYC - In-person collaboration is required for approximately 20% of the time to support team synergy, client meetings, and onsite project needs
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of data-driven recaps, dashboards, and reports that demonstrate program value and drive retail performance
- Present insights in clear, concise business reviews tailored to strategic retail stakeholders
- Lead the implementation and ongoing adoption of ThirdChannel’s platform features within client workflows
- Identify blockers, recommend solutions, and coordinate with product and operations to improve usability and engagement, with AI-driven efficiencies where needed
- Scope, plan, and manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining alignment with the client’s priorities and budget
- Partner with client services, field operations, engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of retail programs
- Clearly translate client needs into internal workflows
- Provide feedback to improve tools, processes, and workflows that impact field execution and client satisfaction
- Surface product ideas and enhancements based on recurring client needs and insights from reporting
- Understand client goals, challenges, and metrics
- Develop and execute account strategies that align with their business objectives while managing multiple workstreams and deadlines effectively
- Build budgets, secure renewals, and propose upsells that align with client goals and internal business targets
- Ensure all services—particularly in-store deliverables—are completed within the agreed-upon budget and scope, balancing value delivery with cost efficiency
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts
- Anticipate challenges before they escalate
- Resolve issues quickly and effectively to maintain operational continuity and client satisfaction
