Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Profound expertise in brand and product development on Amazon with a thorough understanding of platform-specific requirements and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks from initiation to completion, ensuring execution excellence
  • Exceptional aptitude for fostering successful relationships both within and outside the organization, coupled with the capacity to approach challenging conversations with transparency
  • Anticipates market trends and business needs, crafting and executing data-driven strategies that drive measurable outcomes
  • Exhibits strong critical thinking and analytical abilities to assess opportunities, overcome challenges, and deliver innovative solutions tailored to diverse markets
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales volume, expenditure, and profitability targets
  • 3+ years in eCommerce with Amazon experience, or similar job function

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sr. National Account Manager in the daily operations of pet brands and other brands across Amazon marketplaces with the aim of achieving gross sales targets, new product distribution objectives, and other brand-specific goals
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, promotional activities, and industry trends to provide recommendations to develop comprehensive strategies
  • Collaborate with the SNAM to identify opportunities for process enhancements, new initiatives, and overall brand strategy development. Take ownership of the strategy implementation
  • Create fact-based, analytical, and persuasive sales presentations that offer ongoing education and insights into category management
  • Manage the daily activities of the assigned Amazon business segment. Work closely with the Sr. National Account Manager to formulate annual plans that align with distribution, pricing, promotions, and virtual shelf placement for Amazon
  • Develop and execute strategies and tactics at the customer level, ensuring that planned programs are effective, efficient, and deliver the desired return on investment (ROI)
  • Take charge of the product launch sequence for all Amazon Brands. Collaborate with the Product Development, Design, and Brand Management teams to ensure that all new product launches meet Golden Hippo and Amazon's standards and requirements. This includes creating high-quality product copy, images, brand stories, and A+ content
  • Drive strategies for customer engagement by monitoring reviews, leveraging feedback, and improving listings based on market-specific insights

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred
