Summary
Join Anaplan as a Revenue Accountant and oversee bookings metric calculations for designated product lines, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Analyze subscription contracts to determine correct bookings calculations. Assist in processing and reviewing subscription contracts within Workday. Apply internal bookings policy to ensure accurate calculations and reporting of revenue metrics. Validate bookings-related metrics, including ACV, Net New ACV, Renewal ACV, and TCV. Reconcile bookings calculations to ensure accuracy. Liaise with other teams to ensure data integrity. Participate in special projects related to revenue accounting and quote-to-cash cycle improvements. Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Implement and document processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Oversee bookings metric calculations for designated product lines, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Analyze subscription contracts to determine correct bookings calculations by product family that feed to commissions calculations
- Assist in processing and reviewing subscription contracts, including billing and revenue schedules within Workday
- Understand and apply internal bookings policy to ensure accurate calculations and reporting of revenue metrics
- Validate bookings-related metrics, including ACV (Annual Contract Value), Net New ACV, Renewal ACV, and TCV (Total Contract Value)
- Reconcile bookings calculations by product family to full opportunity level to ensure bookings and commissions payments are not counted multiple times
- Liaise with Order Management, Renewals Management, and Deal Desk to ensure data integrity between Salesforce and Anaplan
- Participate in special projects related to revenue accounting and quote-to-cash cycle improvements, including reconciliations of acquired companyβs contract balances
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations for revenue, deferred revenue, and related accounts
- Implement and document processes and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
