RPA Software Engineer

Summary

Join Anrok, a company tackling sales tax compliance challenges for internet businesses, as an RPA Software Engineer. You will collaborate with colleagues to understand customer needs, design intelligent automation systems, and build automation solutions using TypeScript, Postgres, React, and Playwright. This role involves owning the scoping, design, and development of RPA solutions, developing intelligent bots and automation scripts, identifying manual processes for automation, and collaborating with Operations to address technical issues. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background with 4+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years of experience building automation solutions or RPA systems. Requirements

• You have a strong technical background, with 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer and 2+ years of experience building automation solutions or RPA systems
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation
• You think through problems thoroughly to ensure we're building the right solution to the right problem at the right time, and you will push back when necessary
• Your designs take into account scalability, error handling, and maintenance requirements, and you can clearly articulate the tradeoffs between manual and automated processes
• You level up the people around you by sharing your knowledge and experience

Responsibilities

• Own the scoping, design, and development of RPA solutions and automation workflows
• Develop intelligent bots and automation scripts to streamline tax compliance processes
• Identify manual processes and transform them into automated solutions
• Collaborate with Operations to address technical issues for internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus
