RPG/MMS Programmer/Analyst

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming
• Expertise in SQL query writing
• Ability to identify system changes and ensure technical specifications meet business requirements
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Proficient in SQLRPGLE and Free Format coding
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder MMS (versions 4r4 – 2021) is a must

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of Query/400 and ILE concepts (procedures, service programs, functions, free RPG syntax)
• Proficient in complex SQL programming and FTP concepts
• Create, build, and maintain libraries within the AS/400 environment
• Strong understanding of Database, DDS, sub-files, RPG III or later, and RPGLE programming
• Expert in CL and OS/400 commands with in-depth knowledge of SQL/400
• Perform iSeries/AS400 technical support and operations CL programming for automation
• Hands-on experience within an enterprise-wide data center is preferred
• Additional experience in web services, application integration, or system modernization is a plus
• Provide technical support during testing and assist in deployment and post-deployment phases
• Interact independently with client teams to resolve technical issues
• Experience in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) is essential
