Summary

Join Encora as a Ruby on Rails Engineer and collaborate with colleagues across various departments to build new applications and enhance existing ones. You will review pull requests, contribute to technology evaluations, and suggest best practices tailored to project needs. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil. The role requires experience with Ruby on Rails (API level), JavaScript, VueJS, MySQL, and Redis. Knowledge of TypeScript is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Experience with Ruby on Rails – API level, not microservice level but monolithic level
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with VueJS
• Experience with MySQL
• Knowledge and experience with Redis

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, technology, and data science colleagues to create new applications and improve existing applications
• Review PR’s for your team
• Assist in evaluating application technologies
• Make recommendations for best practices based on the situation, team, and product needs

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with Typescript
