Ruby/Go Developer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Ruby Developer at Wallarm, a global remote-first company that provides API security solutions. The role involves working on the Attack Surface Management product, improving code quality, and dealing with technical debt using Ruby, Rails, Go, and NATS.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Ruby applications
• Experience with system design and development
• Experience with databases: - Relational: PostgreSQL (preferred) and MySQL - NO SQL: Redis
• Culture of using RSpec (at least on unit-tests level)
• Knowledge and experience with Docker, UNIX, and git

Responsibilities

• Participate in an entire cycle of research and development processes, from planning to implementation
• Work on our Attack Surface Management product using Rails, Go, and NATS as a message broker

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go or desire to learn it
• Experience with Sinatra (or Grape)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience in developing Swagger specifications
• Desire to work in the field of Information Security
