Russian Language Verifier

Summary

Join Productive Playhouse Inc. as a Russian Language Verifier for a project-based contract position. Work remotely and enjoy a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include creating and quality controlling language verification tests, evaluating submissions, and ensuring audio/video quality. Compensation is a fixed fee based on completed work. The workload is project-dependent, and payment is made via PayPal, Payoneer, or other agreed methods on a 60-day cycle. This role requires high proficiency in Russian (C2 CEFR) and previous professional experience using the language. A background in linguistics is preferred.

Requirements

• Highly proficient (C2 CEFR) in the required language, including the ability to read and write
• Previous professional experience working in the required language
• Personal laptop or access to a computer
• Access to the internet
• Access to email
• The job cannot be completed from your phone
• Payment methods are PayPal, Payoneer, or otherwise agreed upon method
• Payment will be made on a 60-day pay cycle
• Please note that the pay rate is in US dollars and payment will be made in US dollars. The amount in local currency will vary according to exchange rates

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned tasks, see above
• Meet assigned deadlines
• Proactively report progress to project managers
• Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner
• Follow guidelines and requirements as dictated by the project manager
• Communicate in English with project managers via email (verbal communication is not required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal education in the required language, secondary school or higher, strongly preferred
• Master's or PHD in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or the required language, preferred
