Summary

The job is for a Rust Engineer in the DeFi/Blockchain sector. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of back end coding experience, is passionate about algo trading and crypto, and has experience with Rust.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of back end coding experience for example: C++, Rust, Go or Java
  • Experience with Rust is essential for this role
  • Familiarity or Interest with Trading
  • Familiarity with financial markets and trading algorithms in orderbooks
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation, setup and deployment of trading algorithms
  • Assisting the product managers on the planning of the implementation of a technical solution
  • Mentoring other Engineering members
  • Participating actively in the code review of developers
  • Reviewing performance metrics and data analysis to recognise weaknesses and find solutions to optimise our activities
  • Ensuring that processes are well documented

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in DeFi, Web3 and/or a DAO
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Experience with non EVM chains
