Summary

Join our team as a fully remote Software Developer! You will be responsible for developing and modifying software to meet client needs, working collaboratively with consultants and project managers. This role requires strong ABAP programming skills and experience with SAP systems. You will review existing systems, propose improvements, write code, test products, and maintain systems post-launch. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly are essential. A personal laptop is required for remote work.

Requirements

• Possess strong experience with ABAP programming, including reports, forms, and workflows
• Be proficient in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP Fiori development (if applicable)
• Have experience with BAPI, IDoc, ALE, and RFC for system integration
• Have familiarity with SAP's module configuration (e.g., SAP SD, MM, FI, CO)
• Possess knowledge of performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code
• Understand SAP's database and data model
• Have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Have a laptop to perform the job remotely

Responsibilities

• Develop software to accommodate additional client requirements
• Modify existing software containing errors or requiring upgrades
• Work in a team environment with Implementation Consultants and Project Managers
• Convey technical information understandably to non-technical individuals
• Review current systems
• Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
• Work closely with consultants
• Produce detailed specifications and write program codes
• Test the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Maintain the systems once they are up and running
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Keep abreast and remain updated of existing and new technologies
• Perform other duties as requested by the HOD
