Join Axon's Sky-Hero team as a Solutions Sales Specialist and revolutionize tactical operations! This remote role, covering the Western or Eastern US, requires extensive travel (60-70+%). Requirements

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a tactical operations environment, either in military or law enforcement
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in solution-oriented sales, with a background in negotiating and closing complex, strategic, multi-year agreements; experience selling to law enforcement, military, or IT departments is a plus
  • Possess strong commercial awareness with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including police and military personnel, adapting communication to their specific operational needs
  • Have excellent organizational skills, with a proven capability to establish and document an efficient commercial sales flow from prospecting to deal closure
  • Have a genuine interest in public safety and high-tech solutions, with a passion for advancing the use of tactical robotics in the field
  • Be positive, enthusiastic, and customer-centric, with a demonstrated eagerness to learn and readiness to adapt to customer needs independently
  • Have high attention to detail and a commitment to precision, holding customer satisfaction and service as top priorities in all commercial tasks
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing tight deadlines and adapting to evolving project requirements with agility
  • Be a proactive thinker, open to constructive dialogue with project stakeholders and collaborative problem-solving
  • Be comfortable stepping outside the comfort zone and demonstrate readiness to learn new technologies in the tactical robotics space
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite; experience with CRM tools is a plus
  • Be proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Hold a valid driver’s license for necessary travel to client sites and product demonstrations

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Sky-Hero’s tactical robotics to effectively engage and convert prospective state and local law enforcement and military customers into purchasing clients
  • Act as a key resource within the Axon sales team, providing expertise on Sky-Hero products and ensuring the broader team has the insights needed to position these solutions effectively
  • Be customer-centric, dedicated to understanding each customer’s operational challenges and workflows, building a strong contact network within each account, and fostering relationships that drive satisfaction and trust
  • Be comfortable showcasing the capabilities of Sky-Hero products through hands-on demonstrations, ensuring that prospects can see how these tools can address their unique tactical needs
  • Be passionate about the role of tactical robotics in advancing public safety, committed to showing how Sky-Hero can support law enforcement and special forces operations missions
  • Manage your sales pipeline from lead generation through to deal closure, using our CRM to keep account statuses up-to-date and maintain a reliable forecast for leadership
  • Collaborate with the marketing, training, and support teams to align on sales messaging, customer education, and product support strategies
  • Gather and share feedback from the field with product development, helping to shape future improvements to meet evolving customer needs
  • Meet or exceed your sales targets by guiding prospective customers from first contact to final purchase, focusing on multi-unit deals where possible
  • Be committed to building your expertise, staying current on Sky-Hero’s technical specs and market trends to provide customers with the most accurate, relevant information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to law enforcement, military, or IT departments
