Summary
Join Ventura TRAVEL, a top-ranked travel company, as a Sales Specialist supporting German-speaking travelers. Based in Cape Town with remote options across Africa, this fixed-term contract covers maternity leave, with potential extension. You will be responsible for responding to inquiries, achieving sales goals, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires strong sales experience, fluency in German and English, and proficiency in digital tools. Requirements
- At least 3 years of sales experience with strong and proven results
- You enjoy helping people make decisions and are motivated by goals
- You stay calm and focused, even on busy days
- You use digital tools to work smarter, not harder β and are open to new ones
- Youβre a team player and communicate clearly and respectfully
- You speak and write German fluently, and are confident in English as well
Responsibilities
- Respond to travel inquiries and guide customers through the booking process
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Follow up with potential travelers quickly and thoroughly
- Use our tools and templates to create travel offers and handle requests efficiently
- Communicate with travelers by email and phone in a helpful and friendly manner
- Use AI tools to save time and improve how you work
- Share ideas and insights with the rest of the Customer Success team
- Stay informed about our destinations so you can answer questions confidently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the travel industry
- Familiarity with digital tools like CRMs or booking platforms
- Experience working with different types of clients
