As a Salesforce Developer, you will implement designs, develop Salesforce applications, and maintain existing configurations throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with internal and external teams, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining custom Salesforce UI and programming logic, as well as API-based integrations. You will also conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and performance of Salesforce CRM solutions. Requirements

  • Completion of at least 1 post-secondary education in a related field
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of development experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Experience developing solutions for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CMS, Knowledge, and Experience Cloud (authenticated an unauthenticated)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security, including but not limited to roles, profiles, permissions
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Apex, Lightning Web Component and other salesforce customization toolsets
  • General web development experience including proficiency in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Demonstrate understanding of cloud technology fundamentals and cloud-based security concepts
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools
  • Highly analytical individual with advanced problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated communicator with strong customer service acumen, capable of coordinating multiple external technology and business partners

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal team members and external partners in the design, development, and implementation of business solutions leveraging the Salesforce technologies
  • Configure and develop Salesforce multi-cloud CRM solutions that support OTIP initiatives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, identify and gather their requirements and needs, and translate them into technical specifications and Salesforce CRM solutions
  • Configure necessary Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce UI and programing logic in LWC and Apex
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize API-based integrations between Salesforce CRM and other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless data flow
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and regression activities to ensure reliability and performance of Salesforce CRM solutions
  • Design, develop and implement Salesforce multi-cloud CRM solutions that support OTIP initiatives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, identify and gather their requirements and needs, and translate them into technical specifications and Salesforce CRM solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Salesforce certifications are desirable e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, JavaScript Developer I
  • Experience with multi-lingual Salesforce implementation is a highly desired asset
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, and DevOps processes & toolsets (like Gearset, Copado)
  • The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset
