SAP Basis Consultant

Summary

Join our team as a System Administrator and be responsible for the system operation, error analysis, maintenance, and execution of system updates. You will also lead projects, provide support to customers, and contribute to presales activities.

Requirements

• Be willing to work occasionally at night or on weekends
• Have a completed university degree in economics and computer science or comparable qualification and/or several years of relevant professional experience
• Have experience in setting up and operating SAP systems, as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for ABAP and Java systems
• Have fundamental knowledge of at least 2 common SAP databases such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc
• Speak German fluently (C1) and English fluently (B2)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the system operation and perform error analysis, maintenance, and execution of system updates
• Lead projects such as release changes for ABAP and Java
• Be responsible for technology planning of SAP HANA and HANA migration
• Support customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in trouble shooting and performance services
• Support presales activities for new customers in platform services
