SAP PCS Lead

Summary

Join our team as a SAP PCS Lead and leverage your expertise in A&D and PCS, specifically within discrete manufacturing for aerospace clients like Pratt Whitney or Bombardier. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, system configuration, and documentation, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices for MBoM, routing, and shop floor execution. Your role involves conducting workshops, managing requirements, and overseeing testing and change management. S/4HANA experience is required, and A&D experience is preferred. This remote position requires expertise in parameter effectivity, material master views, production order lifecycle, and integration with PLM and MES systems. Functional specification authoring is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Possess S/4HANA Experience
• Understand Parameter Effectivity (integration to PLM and MES)
• Be knowledgeable in Classification, MRP, Scheduling and Costing views of the Material Masters
• Understand Work Centers, BoMs and Routings – Revision & ECM
• Understand the Production Order Lifecycle (Creation to Confirmation to Goods Receipt) incl. Collective Orders for MTS and MTO with WBS
• Understand External Processing with Subcontracting
• Understand Production Order Kitting
• Understand Goods Issues (batch managed) and Reversals for Production Order
• Understand Rework and Production Order Splitting
• Understand Availability Checking and Shortage reporting
• Understand Integration with PLM systems
• Understand Integration with MES systems
• Have experience with A&D and PCS
• Have experience with Discrete Manufacturing in A&D
• Have experience with clients that build airplanes (e.g., Pratt Whitney or Bombardier)
• Have knowledge of MBoM, Routing and Shop Floor Execution’s SAP Best Practice

• Gather work stream requirements with business process owners, completing the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire
• Plan and build Workshop A (System Demo and Presentation Deck) based on assessment answers

• Plan testing for standard and custom objects

• Author functional specifications

Preferred Qualifications
