Join Zettamine as an SAP Project Lifecycle Costing (PLC) Consultant and leverage your 4-15 years of experience in managing the complete lifecycle of project versions and cost calculations. You will be responsible for generating and calculating project lifecycle costs, implementing price determination strategies, configuring costing sheets, and working with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on experience in cost estimation, pricing strategies, lifecycle version management, and costing sheet configuration within SAP. You will work with Base Versions and Lifecycle Versions within SAP PLC to manage product lifecycle costing across multiple stages. This full-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely, from a client location, or from the office, depending on project needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years to 15 years of experience working with SAP PLC or similar costing modules
- Strong understanding of: Lifecycle Cost Management, SAP Costing Sheets & Costing Variants, Price Management and Surcharges, Quantity and BOM cost calculations
- Hands-on experience in integrating data from SAP ECC/S4 systems into PLC for costing
- Familiarity with reference handling, version control, and costing simulations
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Work with Base Versions and Lifecycle Versions within SAP PLC to manage product lifecycle costing across multiple stages
- Generate and calculate complete project lifecycle costs, including integration of cost drivers and surcharges
- Implement and manage Price Determination strategies for lifecycle versions including: Valid price identification, Automatic price determination and its triggering, Manual price overrides where necessary, Price sourcing from Master Data
- Configure and manage Costing Sheets including: Creation of Base Rows, Overhead Rows, and Sum Rows, Calculation of quantities and costs across different BOM levels
- Recalculate product lifecycle costs as per project stage revisions or pricing updates
- Handle references in base versions for consistent and accurate cost mapping
- Work closely with product development, finance, and controlling teams to ensure accuracy and transparency in cost projections
- Provide inputs on process optimization and tool enhancements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related fields
- SAP Certification in Controlling (CO) or Product Lifecycle Costing (PLC) is a plus
- Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering services domains
