SAP Rice Developer

Summary

The job description is for three full-time positions in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which is an SAP-based system. The positions require various levels of experience in software development, database systems, and applications management, with a preference for DoD and specifically Navy ERP experience. The job requires active Secret Clearance and US citizenship.

Requirements

• Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
• DoD clearance required (must be clearable)

Responsibilities

• The Journeyman Application Programmer designs and develops computer software applications and/or database systems, participates in large systems and subsystem planning, ensures adherence to product build schedules, release schedules, and project strategies, oversees testing and debugging components and modules, leads the development of technical documentation and often leads interdisciplinary teams with responsibility for project performance
• The Senior Middleware Developer serves as the principal technical expert on complex and challenging information technology projects. The Senior Middleware Developer may be assigned as team leader on tasks of various technical disciplines or may work alone or as part of a team of Middleware Developers, with responsibility for design and development of computer software applications and/or database systems, evaluation of computer hardware and software, planning for communications and information requirements, system test, and system security
• The Senior ABAP/RICE Developer serves as the principal technical expert on complex and challenging information technology projects. May be assigned as team leader on tasks of various technical disciplines or may work alone or as part of a team of Developers, with responsibility for design and development of computer software applications and/or database systems, evaluation of computer hardware and software, planning for communications and information requirements, system test, and system security
