Summary

Sword is hiring for a permanent remote Scada Monitoring Application Support Engineer role. The engineer will support and manage customer's portfolio of applications and systems to maintain critical business processes in the Energy sector or similar application portfolios. The candidate should have experience as an Applications Engineer, knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and necessary database interfaces, analytical skills, and understanding of real-time data, PI, and Agile & DevOps.

Requirements

• Experience as an Applications Engineer
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and necessary database interfaces
• Experience supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios
• Analytical skills
• Understanding of real-time data, PI, and Agile & DevOps

Responsibilities

Support and manage customer's portfolio of applications and systems to maintain critical business processes

Preferred Qualifications

Automation/scripting skills: csharp, Python (desirable)
