Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in an Agile environment
• Strong federal experience, preferably with CMS or similar government healthcare initiatives, is a must-have for this role
• Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams on agile practices

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews)
• Guide and coach the team in Agile practices and principles, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
• Support the product owner in maintaining the product backlog and ensuring clarity of requirements
• Remove impediments to the team’s progress and address any issues that arise
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders
• Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and performance to stakeholders
• Protect the team from external interference to ensure focus on sprint goals
• Promote a collaborative and transparent working environment
