Requirements
- 3+ years as a SCRUM Master, Agile Coach, or similar role, preferably with a background in R&D or product development
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams within a software development or platform environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM and Kanban, with experience adapting practices to team needs and project demands
- Experience in Agile metrics (cycle time, lead time) and data-driven decision-making to drive team performance
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and dependencies, ideally in an R&D or complex software development environment
- Ability to navigate dependencies and align project activities with product development objectives
- Excellent communicator, able to collaborate with POs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Flexible and open to change, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage change effectively within a team
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and proactive approach to project management
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
- Train and support the team in Agile methodologies, particularly in SCRUM and Kanban practices, to increase productivity and foster a collaborative environment
- Support the development of innovative products, ensuring alignment between project management and product goals
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to understand and prioritize product requirements, manage dependencies, and adjust project plans accordingly
- Assist the team in navigating complex development cycles, setting achievable goals, and tracking progress using key metrics (e.g., cycle time, lead time)
- Act as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders, including the Product Owner, platform teams, and cross-functional departments
- Adapt communication style to suit diverse audiences and effectively manage change to ensure smooth adoption of processes and changes within the team
- Tailor Agile practices to fit our delivery model, aligning with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) requirements and the unique needs of R&D in a software development context
- Apply industry best practices while remaining flexible to adapt processes that best suit the team’s dynamic and project-specific requirements
- Use key metrics (such as cycle time and lead time) to assess and improve team performance, promoting transparency and accountability
- Collaborate with the team to set realistic goals and work towards continuous delivery and optimization of the delivery pipeline
Preferred Qualifications
- SCRUM Master Certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent
- Additional Agile training in Kanban, change management, or Agile coaching is a plus
