Summary

The job is for an early engineer role in a leading information security compliance automation platform, Sprinto. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test automation frameworks and coordinating to ensure all bugs are caught automatically. The team is 200+ employees strong and serves over 1000 customers across 75+ countries.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing with prior hands-on quality engineering experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#
  • Extensive experience with test automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or similar
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, or CircleCI
  • In-depth understanding of the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance, Volume, User Acceptance)
  • Knowledge of multi-tier web application architecture and deployment
  • Familiarity with QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes
  • Experience using a metrics-driven approach and closed-loop feedback to improve software deliverables and improve the predictability and reliability of releases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks
  • Lead the creation and execution of automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright or similar
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in test automation
  • Work closely with product managers and developers to define test strategies and ensure product quality
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and work with the development team to resolve defects
  • Contribute to the improvement of the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration with automated tests
  • Conduct performance, security and scalability testing to ensure product reliability
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to test automation processes and best practices
