SDET Senior - C#

Summary

Join Encora as an SDET in Brazil and work remotely, collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand functionalities and implement tests. You will ensure the quality of new tests, monitor test execution and coverage, and provide quality reports. Responsibilities include automating tests using various tools, interacting with the development team, analyzing systems, participating in technical discussions, and coordinating with the development team to improve product quality. You will also report and monitor issues, continuously improve testing processes, create and execute test cases, and work in a collaborative environment. The role requires experience with C#, Cucumber or other BDD frameworks, web and REST API testing, and basic AWS services.

Requirements

• Experience with C# for testing web applications
• Experience with Cucumber or other BDD framework
• Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools and end-to-end test framework
• Good Web testing experience (React app)
• Good REST API testing experience
• Basic AWS services

Responsibilities

• Automate tests through the use of test automation tools
• Interact with the Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles
• Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy
• Participate in technical discussions with the customer
• Coordinate with the development team to drive product quality
• Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA with Xray)
• Continuously improve the automation, speed, quality, and ease of testing
• Create Test Cases and execute manual tests
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify the root cause of issues
• Experience working with testing tools: Selenium
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment
