SDET/Test Automation - PL

Summary

Join Encora as an SDET Engineer and automate tests using various tools and code development. Collaborate with the Software Development team to complete ticket cycles, analyze systems, and propose test strategies. Participate in technical discussions with clients, coordinate with the development team to enhance product quality, and report issues using defect tracking tools. Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil.

Requirements

• Experience with Python and/or Javascript for testing
• Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools
• Experience with Web Applications testing tools
• Experience with APIs testing tools
• Experience with Cucumber or other BDD framework
• Experience with Jira Platform

Responsibilities

• Automate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development
• Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles
• Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy
• Participate in technical discussions with customer
• Coordinate with development team to drive product quality
• Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc)
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify root cause of issues
• Experience working with testing tools: Robot Framework / Pytest Framework / Selenium / Jest
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment
• Medium Linux knowledge
