Join MyTutor, the UK’s leading online learning platform, as a Secondary School English Language and Literature teacher for a flexible, temporary, remote role. Deliver engaging online lessons to individual pupils in a UK school from the comfort of your home. This ad-hoc position offers varying hours, typically between Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. You will receive training on our technology and medium-term lesson planning. A valid enhanced DBS check and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are required. Prior online teaching experience and knowledge of the English Language and Literature specification are preferred but not mandatory. The pay is £35.00 per hour-long lesson.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid enhanced DBS check (including evidence of checks against the Children’s Barred List)
  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching English Language and Literature in UK Secondary schools
  • Be tech-literate
  • Be confident in delivering lessons online
  • Be available during specified lesson times (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm)
  • Have the full right to work in the United Kingdom

Responsibilities
