Requirements

• Have bachelor degree or graduation status in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Electronic and Communication Engineering or similar disciplines
• Understand working logic of the following Security Products WAF, IPS/IDS, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Antivirus, Sandbox
• Have good understanding of security operations concepts: perimeter defense, data loss protection, insider threat, kill chain analysis, risk assessment, and security metrics
• Have basic understanding of IT operations: help desk, end-point management, and server management
• Have an active interest in Internet Security, Incident Detection, Network and Systems Security
• Have a basic knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking principles
• Have a basic level knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 attacks
• Have knowledge intro level Python or any scripting language
• Focus on growing as an engineer, learning existing tools, resources and processes
• Have high analytical, critical and quantitative thinking skills
• Have good communication skills with ability to interpret and deliver technical information to stakeholders
• Have curious and proactive personality with active interest in researching latest developments in Cyber Security field

Responsibilities

• Working with security events and alerts
• Performing forensic analysis
• Performing regular threat hunting
• Responding to alerts through available tools, services and standard procedures
• Monitoring and analysis; analyze network traffic, log analysis, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms
• Performing detail analysis of events during the incident process, combining analytical skills with advanced knowledge of IT security, system and networking
• Participating in knowledge sharing with other Engineers and writing technical articles (i.e Internal Knowledge Bases)
• Working with the Information Security Team
