Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong understanding of programming best practices, design patterns, methodologies, and testing
- Experience writing secure code, with knowledge of OWASP security principles
- Solid experience working with SQL databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with developing microservices using Docker
Responsibilities
- Develop automation tools and services: Design, build, and maintain automation tools that support SOC operations, managing the full lifecycle from initial requirements to implementation, deployment, and training
- Leverage modern technologies: Utilize technologies such as microservices, Kubernetes, Python, and message queues to streamline workflows and enhance SOC capabilities
- Collaborate with security analysts: Work closely with security experts to solve complex automation, security, and engineering challenges, continuously improving our tools and services
- Research and implement new standards: Stay updated on emerging trends in security and automation, identifying new technologies and standards to enhance security products and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Familiarity with frontend technologies
- Previous involvement in bug bounty programs or a track record of public CVEs and contributions to web application security research
- Exposure to modern web browser security, web architecture, network protocols, and web automation frameworks
- Working knowledge of Linux
