Summary

Thrive is hiring a Security Deployment Engineer to deploy their Platform Security Services to clients. The role requires technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required along with 2-4+ years of workstation, network, and/or server support experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-4+ years workstation, network, and/or server support experience
• Experience with monitoring and remote management tools
• Experience with EDR, SIEM and Vulnerability Management/Scanning technologies
• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deployment of Thrive’s Platform Security Services to new and existing customers related to Endpoint Detection and Response (FortiEDR, SentinelOne), SIEM (FortiSIEM), Cybersecurity Training (Symbol Security, KnowBe4), Vulnerability Scanning (Qualys)
• Assist in development of security deployment process, configuration standards and customer deliverables
• Handle diverse computing and network environments in a wide cross section of business clients
• Work through the project process to drive deployments to a successful outcome
• Present security service deployment plan at technical kick off to inform the client of dependencies, requirements, potential conflicts, etc
• Work at direction of Deployment and Project Managers to complete security engineering tasks in adherence to a formal deployment process
• Assist in completion of Support Handoff requirements to allow for long term maintenance by Thrive Service Desk and SOC
