Requirements
- College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Easy to work with
- Proven experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on endpoint security, network security, and SEIM solutions
- Proficiency in industry leading EDR/XDR solutions (SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender)
- Previous experience with Zero Trust Networking concepts and solutions
- Hands-on experience with centralized logging, log source configuration, and SEIM platforms
Responsibilities
- Implement Endpoint Security Solutions
- Deploy and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions to safeguard endpoints from threats
- Continuously monitor and fine-tune endpoint security configurations to ensure optimal protection
- Design and Deploy Zero Trust Networks
- Develop and implement Zero Trust Network strategies to secure access to resources based on strict identity verification
- Ensure secure communication channels and minimize attack surfaces through micro-segmentation and least-privilege access controls
- Setup Centralized Logging and SEIM Integration
- Establish centralized logging infrastructure to aggregate security logs from various sources
- Configure log sources, parsers, and alerting rules within the Security Information and Event Management (SEIM) system for efficient threat detection and response
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with Network Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Software Development teams to integrate security best practices into their workflows
- Provide guidance and support to ensure secure design, development, and deployment of software and network infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+) are a plus
- Strong focus on service quality and providing the best possible user experience, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working in dynamic, international environments, both as a member of cross-functional teams and independently
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
