Security Engineer

Summary

Join Intuition Machines, a company using AI/ML to build enterprise security products, as a Security Software Engineer. You will design, develop, and implement tools and features within our security platform, focusing on systems programming and compiler development. Responsibilities include improving detection and prevention of malicious activity, collaborating with other departments, and deploying continuous updates. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience in systems programming and compiler development, a strong understanding of HTTP protocols and web APIs, and experience with Javascript and browser automation tools. We offer a fully remote position with flexible working hours and a collaborative, global team.

Requirements

• Have hands-on experience in a similar role, or demonstrated expertise in systems programming and compiler development
• Demonstrate understanding of HTTP Protocols and Web API, including knowledge of browser specifications and their capabilities
• Demonstrate work in the form of projects, research or blog(s) related to compiler design and implementation
• Have hands-on experiencing implementing processes that use cryptography and other methods to obscure and secure data
• Have experience working with Javascript and browser automation tools and services
• Possess high conscientiousness
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, when presenting ideas, solutions, progress, etc. to team members and/or stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions that deliver on expectations based on the requirements of customers and stakeholders
• Research and implement the latest research in areas around security, obfuscation, virtual machines and compilers
• Collaborate with different departments to investigate areas of improvement that can be used by security and machine learning to advance our detection services
• Deploy continuous updates based on monitoring and research to keep up with the ever changing landscape of fraud and automation
• Write clearly structured, maintainable, well documented, and tested code that delivers based on outlined goals. It should be high quality enough to be open-sourced

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Rust and/or Python and/or C/C++
• Have experience with WASM
• Have experience with Security Incident Management
