Remote Security Engineer (IT)

Summary

Join Juniper Square as an Information Security Engineer to use your extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of information security, improving security tools and processes, identifying threats, detecting incidents, and delivering effective response/remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technology related field, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of IT security experience with at least 2 years beyond an analyst role as a security engineer
• Security certification (CISSP, CISM, or similar)
• Strong understanding of all aspects of security best practices, policies, and procedures
• Expert knowledge and experience with SIEM, MDR, XDR, EDR
• Extensive experience in incident response
• Extensive experience writing custom detections
• Strong knowledge in SAAS security, endpoint protection, and malware analysis
• Strong knowledge and practical application of bash and or python scripting
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
• Knowledge and experience with AWS or GCP
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, service and resolution skills
• Ability to be on-call
