Summary

Join poolside's Infrastructure Engineering team as a Security Engineer and lead security initiatives, ensuring security processes don't hinder development velocity. You will design and implement authentication and authorization policies, create comprehensive security reports, and spearhead efforts to obtain ISO and SOC2 certifications. The role involves building a security incident response framework and collaborating effectively within a team. Requirements

  • Experience with the auditing and certification process for major security certifications
  • Experience working with security researchers
  • Solid grasp of IT infrastructure automation as this position is embedded in the infrastructure team
  • Engineering experience
  • DevOps: Git, Docker, k8s, Terraform, baremetal
  • Monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
  • Strong algorithmic skills
  • Use modern tools and are always looking to improve

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Design authentication and authorization policies company wide
  • Take responsibility for build comprehensive security reports
  • Lead our efforts to get official ISO, SOC2t2, and more certifications
  • Help build up our security incident response framework
  • Work as part of a team: plan future steps, discuss, and communicate clearly with your peers
