Security Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Research Mindset - passionate to develop cutting-edge cybersecurity software at scale
• Experience in at least one of the languages such as Python, Go, JS
• Experience building Restful backend services using popular frameworks such as Flask, DjangoREST, Go Echo
• Experience in Relational / Non-Relational Database Management Systems such as Postgresql, ElasticSearch, Couchbase, etc
• Experience in Linux operating systems
• Experience in automated deployment in Kubernetes environments

Responsibilities

• Coding new products and improving existing platforms to improve the Trendyol Security infrastructure
• Participating in research to follow advances in security
• Continuously improving oneself with team members, learning new technologies and acquiring new skills
• Participating in planning meetings, estimating tasks, doing code reviews, and coding in pairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of network security products is a big plus
• Experience in messaging software such as Kafka, RabbitMq
• Hands-on experience in ReactJs, Angular, VueJs, or similar frontend technologies
• Experience in Continuous Delivery and building pipelines. Practical knowledge about OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Craftsmanship culture, Refactoring, and Unit Testing is a big plus
