Security Engineer - Blue Team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Blue team / Defensive security
• Fluently communicating in English and being comfortable talking to native English speakers on a daily basis
• Managing AWS IAM, finding vulnerabilities in the permissions set and fixing them with AWS SSO
• Working with different security standards from CIS, NIST and OWASP
• Automating tasks to scale security tests
• Working with logs, metrics, monitoring and analytics
• Securing cloud environments
• Implementing security controls, correlating events and generating reports
• With automation and provisioners like Terraform, Ansible or Chef
• Automating tasks with scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash

Responsibilities

• Implement controls and secure company’s information systems by developing, testing and reviewing identity requirements
• Architect, build, test, deploy, and monitor IAM systems
• Understand critical flows and identify best monitoring tactics
• Build security plans, coordinate among involved people and execute
• Document operational procedures and protocols regarding security
• Maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans and train staff on security procedures
• Analyze, identify, propose and implement security controls, alerts and processes
• Generate security reports whenever needed
• Improve our cloud security posture
