Summary

Join our team as a Software Developer Engineer in Test and contribute to maintaining and expanding the automated test suite for our Roku app using an existing Appium framework in TypeScript. You will collaborate with developers and other QA team members to ensure high-quality standards across various devices. Your responsibilities include assimilating the existing framework, maintaining and expanding automated tests, troubleshooting issues, and working with various device types. You will also utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Atlassian tools for project management. This role requires strong collaboration skills and effective communication in English.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Have 3+ years of experience with Automation Testing (Selenium)
• Have 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
• Have 1+ year of experience with Appium
• Have 1+ year of experience with TypeScript
• Have an advanced English level

Responsibilities

• Assimilate the existing Appium testing framework (TypeScript) to support the Roku application
• Maintain and expand automated tests for new and existing features to ensure a consistent user experience
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues within the test suite to guarantee the reliability of automated tests
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to prioritize and ensure full coverage of critical features
• Work across various device types to ensure app functionality, with a particular focus on Roku devices
• Utilize GitHub Actions to manage CI/CD workflows and effectively deploy automated test updates
• Leverage Atlassian tools for project tracking and documentation (JIRA, Confluence)
