Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent AND 0-3 years’ experience in the field or related area OR 3-6 years if experience in the field or related area in lieu of degree
  • 1+ years of native Azure cloud development
  • 5+ years of web application development experience
  • 4+ years of experience with C# and the .NET 4.x and above Framework, .NET core, MVC and WebForms
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and related technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with Client-side technologies, e.g., HTML5, CSS
  • 2+ years of development experience using T-SQL and/or EF
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or later
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or VSCode
  • Hands-on experience with 508 compliance, WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and ARIA roles
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., AXE, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA)
  • Experience in full life cycle process of web application development including technical requirements gathering, documentation, and testing
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design concepts
  • Microsoft Azure Dev Ops
  • Self-starter willing to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to produce high quality work in a timely fashion
  • Ability to quickly understand the existing systems and analyze the system impact of changes
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective spoken and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated to learn and keep up with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and unit test updates to existing application functionality and/or new features and modules within Envision’s product suite
  • Complete user interface tasks primarily using C#, JavaScript, and the .NET framework
  • Complete database tasks using T-SQL and SQL Server 2019+ via EF and/or stored procedures
  • Ensure all web applications meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards
  • Conduct accessibility testing and remediation using tools like AXE, JAWS, and WAVE
  • Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security
  • Include Automated Testing in tools like Jasmine, Jest, Playwright, etc
  • Generate technical documentation as applicable
  • Provide architectural guidance and development for Web technologies such as Bootstrap, JQuery, Knockout, etc
  • Work with customers and/or other team members to complete technical design tasks
  • Support system, integration, and end user testing as necessary
  • Collaborate with customers and other team members on ideas, designs, and issues (both technical and non-technical)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-tier application development experience
  • Serverless Cloud architecture experience
  • API development: Azure API Gateway, Open API, Swagger, Azure Front Door
  • Infrastructure as Code experience
  • Azure Monitoring and Management solutions: Azure Analytics, Application Insights, Automation, Azure Monitor, Azure Workbooks, Dashboards
  • Best Practices such as Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Well-Architected Framework, Azure Architecture Center
  • Shift-left practices with security, observability, testing, code quality checks, documentation, etc
  • Documentation and modeling experience: C4 Model, Arc42
