Summary

Join Entersekt, a leader in mobile authentication and payments enablement technology, as a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations for entities in Norway, Finland, and Estonia. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multi-entity operations, strong knowledge of IFRS and local compliance, and proficiency in Xero or similar ERP systems.

Requirements

• Degree Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA qualification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on managing multiple entities in different geographies
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and European regulatory frameworks
• Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
• Excellent understanding of cross-border financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory regulations
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations for entities in Norway, Finland, and Estonia, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local statutory requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, providing timely financial reporting
• Ensure tax, payroll, and regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction, coordinating with external auditors, consultants, and payroll providers
• Utilize Entersekt’s ERP to manage financial data and maintain system integrity across multiple entities
• Support the Financial Director and CFO with financial analysis and insights for strategic decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with accounting practices and the broader tax landscape in Estonia, Norway, and Finland, beyond statutory requirements
• Understanding of the accounting needs specific to SaaS or tech companies
• Experience in streamlining accounting processes, automating workflows, and improving system efficiencies
