Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in accounting
- Minimum 4 years of experience in audit or financial reporting
- Proven experience with accounting for complex business entities, particularly with multiple subsidiaries
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple priorities at once
- Experience with general ledger software applications, such as Intacct or Netsuite
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
- Perform reconciliations and detailed account analysis during the monthly close process, leveraging internal data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Oversee the accounting for complex business entities, particularly a parent organization with multiple subsidiaries
- Work with foreign currencies and manage the financial operations of international subsidiaries
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including the companyโs global payroll and accounts payable processes
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Coordinate and manage the audit process, working with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting, and provide supporting documentation for external audits, including international subsidiary audits
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Handle treasury responsibilities, including cash management and financial planning
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal business teams
- Assist with compliance of state and federal tax regulations, including working with external firms on the preparation and submission of tax returns
- Work on multiple priorities simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
