Senior Accountant-Payroll

Summary

You will play a key role in month-end closings, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting HR with benefits. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent related field experience
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post Journal entries for Balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end GL reconciliations
• Assist with quarterly and annual audit requests from external and internal auditors
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as it pertains to accounting, the business and payroll
• Collaborate with teams across the organization in regards to AP/AR/Accounting matters
• Maintain and improve on processes and procedures within the accounting department and the rest of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Workday, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Time management
