Requirements
- A strong commitment to education, workforce development, and social impact
- Experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or major donor relations
- An established network of corporate executives, philanthropic leaders, or high-net-worth donors
- The ability to dedicate 5โ10 hours per quarter to strategic advising, donor outreach, and networking
Responsibilities
- Provide expert insights into corporate philanthropy, nonprofit strategy, and donor engagement
- Advise on TEEIโs expansion, financial sustainability, and partnership-building initiatives
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors and executive leadership to align fundraising efforts with strategic priorities
- Leverage your network to connect TEEI with potential corporate sponsors, foundations, and major donors
- Support TEEIโs fundraising efforts by facilitating introductions to high-net-worth individuals and impact investors
- Help drive annual fundraising efforts, contributing or securing $25,000โ$50,000 per advisory member
- Build relationships with corporate leaders, philanthropic organizations, and educational institutions
- Represent TEEI at industry events, fundraising galas, and philanthropic forums
- Advocate for TEEIโs programs and mission to increase visibility and funding support
- Attend quarterly Advisory Council meetings (virtual or in-person) to provide input and strategic guidance
- Engage in fundraising and networking activities to strengthen donor relationships
- Work with other Advisory Council Members to develop new initiatives that drive TEEIโs mission forward
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in finance, law, technology, AI, social impact, or nonprofit growth strategies
- Previous experience serving on an advisory council or nonprofit board
