Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Proven experience in AI and data analytics, preferably within the healthcare industry
• Strong understanding of LLMs, machine learning algorithms, data modeling, and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS) and relevant technologies (e.g. Bedrock, Redshift)
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, and popular data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, SciKit-Learn)
• Experience in a medical/clinical environment and understanding of the workflows and data that is common in such settings

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI solutions to address complex challenges in the healthcare sector, working closely with the clinical team to ensure alignment with real-world needs
• Collaborate with the product team to integrate AI solutions into our existing and future products, ensuring they add tangible value to our customers
• Stay abreast of the latest AI and data analytics trends and technologies, advocating for their adoption where appropriate to maintain our competitive edge
• Lead technical projects from conceptual design through to deployment, guiding architectural choices, implementation approaches, and ensuring successful integration
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging continuous learning and experimentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java (our application backend language) and/or Typescript
• Experience with real-world large-scale product deployment and -operations
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders
