Summary

Join MetroStar as a Sr. AI/ML Engineer III and become a thought leader on a DHS contract. You will guide the organization's implementation of large datasets (over 500M records), focusing on data quality. Your work will involve implementing and improving Machine Learning as a Service (MLaaS) and Graph Data Science. You will analyze complex datasets, apply machine learning techniques, and present findings. Leadership in architectural design and technical support for identity management systems is crucial. This role requires extensive experience in data architecture, modeling, and AI/ML.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience, focusing on enterprise data architecture and management
  • Have at least eight (8) years of experience in Conceptual/Logical/Physical data modeling
  • Have experience in identity/entity resolution
  • Have experience applying graph data science solutions (e.g., leveraging tools like Python, Pandas, Numpy, Sidekick Learn, Neo4j)
  • Have experience in modeling solutions in AWS that us AI/ML algorithms
  • Have at least ten (10) years of proven expertise in Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling
  • Have experience of cloud architecture, specifically AWS, as it relates to data processing (i.e., EC2, S3, Redshift, etc.)
  • Be able to define & maintain BI/Data Warehouse methodologies, standards, and industry best practices
  • Have experience leading and architecting enterprise-wide initiatives, specifically system integration, data migration, transformation, data warehouse build, data mart build, data lakes implementation / support, as well as O&M etc. for a large enterprise
  • Possess expertise in large scale database requirements supporting diverse data types
  • Have experience briefing the benefits and constraints of technology solutions to technology partners, stakeholders, team members, and senior levels of management
  • Have at a minimum a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering, or other comparable degree or experience
  • Have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex datasets to assess performance or find new patterns
  • Apply machine learning techniques to data sets related to immigration
  • Present results to a diverse audience in presentation or report form
  • Lead architectural design, technical support, and advisement services to ensure identity management system technologies are integrated and meeting the appropriate security requirements
  • Support leadership who engage with senior level executives at a public facing Federal agency and provide subject matter expertise in security architecture and other key domain areas
