Senior Analytics Engineer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job is for an Analytics Engineer at Deel, a fast-growing global company specializing in international payroll and compliance. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop infrastructure, own the quality of marketing performance data models, and drive data integrations into GTM tools.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, CS, or another STEM field
• Have at least 5 years experience in an analytical role, of which 2 in an analytics engineering position
• Have experience with commercial domains, like Sales, Marketing or Customer Success
• Expert in SQL
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, like Python
• Experience in DBT (ideally 1+ year) and data modeling and metrics design
• Experience designing and implementing a data warehouse and modern BI architecture
• Experience with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab)
• Be an excellent communicator, able to tell simple, but compelling stories with data
• Work well with people across the spectrum

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Marketing Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Digital Analytics Managers as well as the Sales Operations team and Customer Success team to develop our infrastructure
• Work closely with senior marketing and growth stakeholders
• Own the quality of our marketing performance, forecasting data models and reporting infrastructure
• Create robust documentation to drive awareness and standardize marketing analytics terminology
• Drive data integrations into GTM tools, like Braze and Salesforce to ensure our data is provided in the right format and in the most convenient location
• Build clean, highly scalable marketing data models in Snowflake, using dbt
• Own the definition, quality and reliability for key Marketing metrics, like Cost of Acquisition and Marketing ROI
• Collaborate closely with our data science teams to build forecasting/predictive models

Preferred Qualifications

• Have worked with dbt and LookML
• Have experience using CRM platforms like Salesforce, Hubspot
