Senior Analytics Engineer

Summary

The job description is for an Analytics Engineer role at Found, a business bank account that automates taxes and expense tracking for self-employed individuals. Requirements

• 5-7+ years in Analytics Engineering (or similar roles)
• Strong expertise with SQL, dbt, Jinja, and Python
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of building highly complex data models and taking ownership of large portions (or all) of a dbt project

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, accurate, and trusted data models
• Author clear and accessible documentation for our data warehouse for analysts and other stakeholders
• Establish standards for our dbt project–including documentation, naming conventions, testing coverage, etc
• Build and maintain select company-level dashboards to provide clear insight into performance to the entire Found organization
• Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks for analytics engineering at Found
