As a Sr. Analytics Engineer in the Lending Squad, you will transform complex data into strategic insights, supporting business growth and product evolution. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the Lending product is data-informed and optimized. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with SQL and QlikSense, and a solid understanding of credit products and financial KPIs. Requirements

  • Advanced SQL Skills: Deep experience with SQL for querying large datasets, optimizing performance, and creating reusable data logic
  • QlikSense or similar tool Expertise: Proven experience building and optimizing interactive dashboards in QlikSense or a similar tool; knowledge of app design best practices
  • Data Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Redshift, Databricks, and data warehousing concepts
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of credit products, collections strategies, portfolio risk, and financial KPIs
  • Analytical Communication: Strong ability to communicate analytical results clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Finance, or related fields
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in handling data transformations, process documentation, and quality assurance

Responsibilities

  • Generate Strategic Projections & Forecasts: Produce forecasts and estimations to evaluate product performance and support short- and long-term strategic decisions
  • Drive KPI Integration into Product Development: Partner with product managers to ensure all new features and changes are built with measurable KPIs, allowing for seamless performance tracking from day one
  • Support Dashboard Development & Data Visibility: Build and enhance QlikSense dashboards to monitor portfolio, collections, and product performance. Add relevant variables and data streams to ensure comprehensive insights
  • Query & Dashboard Optimization: Continuously optimize SQL queries and improve the performance of QlikSense apps to ensure scalability, efficiency, and fast execution of reports
  • Product Analytics: Conduct in-depth analysis on user behavior, repayment trends, and risk dynamics, helping the product team make data-backed decisions
  • Cross-Functional Support: Handle analytical and operational requests from the Finance, Risk, and Data Science teams, delivering high-quality data support and insights
  • Data Governance & Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of metrics, queries, and dashboards to promote governance and reproducibility
  • Portfolio & Collections Insights: Analyze and monitor credit portfolio performance, collections effectiveness, and other key financial indicators critical to Lending
  • Contribute to Platform Migration: Support the ongoing migration from Redshift to Databricks, ensuring no data loss and continuity of insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forecasting & Predictive Modeling: Experience forecasting lending behavior, repayment rates, or credit risk metrics
  • Python for Data Analysis: Ability to support model development and data exploration using Python
  • ETL & Data Modeling: Familiarity with building scalable data models and ETL pipelines with proper governance and performance in mind
  • Automation of Analytical Workflows: Experience automating repetitive reporting tasks and optimizing analytical pipelines for better efficiency
