Summary
Join M-KOPA's Retention engineering group as a very Senior Android Engineer. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain M-KOPA’s Customer apps, ensuring scalability with company and customer growth. The role involves working in a self-organized, agile environment using Azure DevOps for CI/CD. You will be responsible for delivering software that scales, diving deep into user journeys using data, and implementing updates to meet customer needs. This is a fully remote position within a specific time zone, reporting to a Software Engineering Team Lead. Requirements
- Be comfortable working as part of a team which owns the entire software stack, including the supporting infrastructure, throughout the entire software lifecycle from inception, through production and right the way to decommissioning under a DevOps culture
- Have an extensive background working for a large-scale product and having deep knowledge and experience of trunk-based development, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection, Uni-directional data flow (MVI), Feature Toggles, Docker and Azure DevOps
- Value the constraints that continuous delivery places upon engineering processes and embrace testing and observability as first order concerns in the development of software
- Have solid Senior level experience with Kotlin, Android app development, clean architecture principles, testing, unidirectional data flow and jetpack compose

- Work with a cross-functional team of android, backend engineers, and product managers to design, develop, and maintain M-KOPA’s Customer apps, and deliver software that scales with both company and customer growth
- Work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain M-KOPA’s Customer android application as well as key internal UI components
- Deliver software that scales with both company and customer growth, deep diving user journeys using data and implementing focused updates to address our customer’s needs, improving application quality and raising coding standards
