Senior Application-System Analyst

Summary

Join IT Concepts, Inc. as a Senior Application/Systems Analyst to support our VA-ESOM contract across the United States. You will be part of the Operations Triage Group, performing complex tasks such as data analysis, operational improvements, and report verification. This role requires extensive IT experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred qualifications include federal client support experience and knowledge of Section 508 Conformance and the ITIL Framework. Public Trust Clearance is required.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
• Have 5 years of relevant experience
• Be able to follow regulations and policies
• Be agile to changing priorities with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and sharp attention to detail
• Demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations
• Possess expertise in high-pressure situations, flawless execution during crises, and mitigating applications/system risks
• Be able to work with teams, but be self-motivated to complete projects on your own
• Be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
• Be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

• Support VA/OIT Infrastructure Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Operation Triage Group division in performing technical and professional work by conducting various business analyses and forming recommendations for operational excellence and system improvements
• Support the Operations Triage Group by performing complex tasks like research, data analysis & validation, operational improvements, project support, reports verification, records management, documentation, executive summaries, white papers, memorandums, file management, deriving actionable insights with an objective of operational efficiency and transparent communications
• Observe and recommend ways to improve data completeness, harmonization, and standardization across data sources with process improvement, automation, and best practices mindset
• Partner with the Problem-Solving Engineering Team within the Operations Triage Group team of System Engineers, Application / System Analysts, etc., with a potential 24/7 working schedule, ensuring effective collaboration across the VA ESOM contract and resource management
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer support through regular communication, feedback collection, metric/KPI, and tracking the progress of project/incidents, roadmap, success factors, compliance, and AES Score as agreed

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience supporting a federal client
• Have Section 508 Conformance experience or knowledge
• Have knowledge of ITIL Framework
