Summary

Join Adaptiq, a technology hub supporting R&D teams, as a Senior Automation Engineer. You will ensure the end-to-end quality of complex SaaS products using robust automation frameworks. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and infrastructure engineers to deliver reliable, scalable automation solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automation tests, taking ownership of new features, and developing automation frameworks for web applications and APIs. You will be part of an AI-first engineering culture, building modern, cloud-based solutions impacting millions of users. The ideal candidate possesses extensive automation experience with Python, Selenium or Playwright, and REST API testing. A strong understanding of software design patterns and automation best practices is crucial.

Requirements

• 5+ years of automation experience for web applications using Python (must-have)
• 2+ years developing automation infrastructure and UI testing using Selenium or Playwright , REST API testing, databases, and third-party integrations
• Strong technical skills with deep knowledge of automation best practices
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, OOP, and clean code principles
• Experience in test planning, writing, and execution methodologies
• Hands-on experience with SaaS web-based applications
• Strong product mind-set , open-mindedness and flexibility to work with different technologies as per company needs
• Excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew a plus)
• Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality products

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automation tests and supporting infrastructure
• Take ownership of new features and provide full automation coverage from the design stage through production testing
• Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for web applications and APIs
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure high product quality
• Elevate product quality through best practices in test design, execution, and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell , Bash , Python , or Groovy
• Experience with Postman for API testing
• Proficiency in writing and executing database queries
• Cloud platform experience ( Azure , AWS , or GCP )
• Experience developing Continuous Integration solutions
