Senior Associate, Treasury Cash & Settlements

This position requires strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with relevant experience in payments operations or cash management. Requirements

• Demonstrated success in payments operations, banking and payments, or other cash management related roles
• Plans, organizes, and schedules in a productive manner, allowing for a focus on key priorities and regular updates
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with various team members
• Speaks plainly and truthfully. Communicates complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience (e.g. engineering, 3rd party vendors, growth/operational teams, executive team)
• If something seems off, you want to figure out what’s going on; you enjoy navigating uncertainty, bringing clarity to ambiguity and don’t wait for a playbook to be written
• Acts without being told what to do; taking full ownership of work, and proactively seeks help and input when needed to provide well supported solutions
• Ability to produce significant output with minimum wasted effort; finds the path of least resistance to the problem definition, solution and execution
• Doesn't cut corners; does what is right, not what is politically expedient
• Has a strong proficiency in excel, and a history of using data to answer complex problems

Responsibilities

• Facilitate day-to-day brokerage money movements necessary to power operations
• Work closely with various accounting, operations and treasury teams to ensure money movements are performed accurately and risk is appropriately managed
• Collaborate with a variety of cross functional stakeholders (product, engineering, data science, and finance) to build or improve current workflows
• Build, maintain, and optimize short-term cash flow forecasts and intraday liquidity monitors
• Work closely with product & finance teams to stand up cash management processes required for products and initiatives
• Showcase your understanding of the various Payments rails through your knowledge of Payments Canada regulations where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

SQL experience or experience working with treasury management systems
