Senior AWS Developer

Summary

Join our growing team as a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer. Design, develop, and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS. Utilize AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Textract, etc.). Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Manage and maintain AWS environments, ensuring security and compliance. Troubleshoot issues and recommend infrastructure enhancements. Assist with cost optimization and resource management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud services
• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solutions Architect ) required
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, AWS CLI
• Expertise in Python, Java, and Node.js programming
• Proficient with AWS AI/ML services and their integration into scalable applications
• Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with database technologies like SQL and MongoDB

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions using AWS services
• Build and integrate solutions utilizing AWS AI/ML services such as SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, Lex, Polly, Rekognition, Transcribe, Personalize, and Forecast
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical leadership and support
• Manage and maintain AWS environments, including deployment, performance monitoring, and optimization
• Ensure cloud architecture aligns with industry security and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and service-related issues
• Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to the cloud infrastructure by staying up-to-date with the latest AWS offerings
• Assist with cost optimization, budgeting, and resource management in AWS environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Collaborative team player with the ability to mentor others and drive technical solutions
