Senior AWS Messaging Architect

Summary

Join Capco, a global management and technology consultancy, as a Senior Messaging Solutions Architect. Design, develop, and maintain robust messaging and integration frameworks across enterprise systems. You will leverage expertise in message queuing systems, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable message delivery. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and involves leading performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of messaging systems. This remote position, based in Poland (Warsaw preferred), may require occasional travel to London or Warsaw initially. Requirements

• Proven expertise in enterprise messaging systems (e.g., SOLACE, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous messaging and event-driven architecture patterns
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python
• Solid experience with AWS and cloud-based messaging services
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with messaging and integration solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective time and project management skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges
• Ability to operate independently and drive initiatives to completion

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable messaging solutions and integration patterns for complex enterprise systems
• Develop infrastructure strategies to support real-time and asynchronous communications
• Implement and manage message queuing systems such as Solace, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ
• Ensure message reliability, delivery guarantees, and data security across distributed environments
• Create and maintain technical documentation for messaging frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate messaging capabilities with business applications
• Lead performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of messaging systems
